Although I like Britta filters they are very expensive. This is because I have to constantly change filters due to water consumption. I drink "at least" a gallon of water a day, so a 300-fill filter doesn't last that long. I immediately noticed that the filter works great because I don't tolerate tap water. One of the other reviews states that this brand doesn't have the residue that my Britta filters have. I have to wait for this review because I've just started using it. I know that Britta filter residue will turn the mouthpiece of my bottle black.
