I needed to find a short in my Ford F350. Someone on the Ford forums mentioned this tool. After checking it out, I found a similar tool at Harbor Freight. Which was less than $30. But I wanted to do the job right, and only once! That's why I chose the "Pro" version. I am very disappointed with the low sensitivity. Yes, even at the maximum setting (3x flashing). Hardly works through kick panels or canopy tracking through the scalp. If you are more than a meter away from the transmitter and receiver, you will find it difficult to follow the signal.
