Installed on a 212cc Predator half engine 3-4 puffs a day or about 30 to be careful.) About day 7 noticed that there was a clicking sound at that jerk when the engine was running but still ran fine. Also, I noticed that the string return tension dropped around the same time. This morning (Day 8) the device failed. My guess is that the coil responsible for the thrust feedback function has ruptured and the unit now needs to be replaced. This can be an accident. for this particular unit so I'm testing the 2nd pool I bought at the same time hoping it gets better. I will submit a later update with this information. Update: 2nd pool installed and it failed too. Contacted customer service and hey, that was awesome! The failure appears to be due to the flimsy plastic used to keep the metal tabs inside from pulling. It's also possible that I came across 2 defective parts from a defective batch. Waiting for the arrival of the 3rd part for testing. There will be more updates.
