Just received today! Slightly heavier than expected and appears to be of very good quality. The time will show. The locking mechanism is a single bolt (similar to the lock on a gun safe). The keys aren't flimsy, which is nice. The only downside I see so far is that the rubber protector strips (3 or 4 inches) that come with the lock have a less sticky adhesive. Second, there is a small groove that allows the rubber strip to sit in one spot instead of where my controls are. Very simple solution, I just took a razor, cut a strip where I needed it and placed it. Oh, and if you're wondering if a thief can shove this off the page, they can't. I was just trying to look. I actually tore part of my grip trying to get the lock off (don't worry, they were cheap and I always have new ones on the way so I didn't care). The ball at the end of the brake lever is wider than the hole in the lock. While this lock won't stop a couple of strong bodies from grabbing my bike (a street-legal off-road bike, so light), it certainly will hold a person down. Overall not bad.
