Great shoes/boots for farm, mediocre quality

On first glance, these shoes are ok. They are a bit bigger than expected (I'm a 7-7.5 and got a 7, should have gotten 6.5) but they are comfortable and offer great support. I tie the laces and open and close the zipper to put them on and take them off. I like the little pocket - I put my key there when I go to the farm so I don't have to place it in my bra lol.BUT:I was prepared to give a 4-star review (5 minus 1 for the size problem) and then I washed the boots. After coming home from the farm, my shoes were dusty - altogether surprising because I had specifically not chosen a denim shoe because I didn't want the dirt to stick. I got Blue Pu (color is great, exactly as shown). So I wetted paper towels and started wiping. I thought it would take a second. ha ha. It took long minutes to wipe the shoes clean (enough to make me say never again, I'll wear dirty shoes) and worse: the color came off onto the paper towels. See pictures attached.
