Review on MaxRed Thermometer Thermistor Replacement KitchenAid by Jacob Rasmussen

Power surge turned on our probe setting and we had to turn it off. Several resets (turning off the switch) didn't solve the problem. I couldn't find my Thermador probe and didn't want to pay $80 for a replacement. The MaxRed probe works great with my Thermador wall oven. FYI, I've searched the internet for a possible solution but without much success. If someone else wants to reset the sensor in the Thermador oven, follow these steps. This worked for me and helped me not to call support! 1. Oven switch2. Insert the probe into the oven for 1 minute.3. Remove probe 4. Wait 2 minutes and turn the oven switch5 back on. The probe icon will turn off automatically!
