You get what you pay for

Overall rating after 1 month of use: Very reasonable price, fairly professional looks, doesn't look like a kid's device but has a few flaws that were probably unavoidable at this price point categories. I was looking for an inexpensive tablet reader (I wanted more flexibility than a dedicated e-book reader) and saw this tablet mentioned in a comment on an online article "Best Tablets" as a gem suggestion , which was not listed . I wanted to avoid the Kindle and after checking it out it seemed like a very cheap alternative and got good enough reviews so I went with it. The tablet makes a mostly well-made impression. The back is brushed aluminum, which isn't necessarily my favorite look (I would have preferred either the sleek silver finish or the colored aluminum options), but the metal body makes it a bit more expensive and not as plasticky. The charging port is essentially my only criticism of the design, as the USB-C port seems a bit of a shame. shaky? The cable can wiggle when plugged in, which makes me a little nervous about damaging the device. This happens with both the cable that came with the tablet and the high-end USB-C cable I bought earlier for another device, so it's definitely the tablet's fault, not the cable. The screen is ok, I have no idea what the description "2.5D curved screen" means as the screen seems flat to me, but the colour/contrast seems good (and can be easily adjusted in the system settings ) and the touch response is good, so no complaints. The 1280 x 800 pixel resolution seems low for a 10-inch device (Kindle Fire 10 is 1080p and even most phones these days have a higher resolution than on much smaller screens), but it's a very cheap tablet, so I can't get too excited In terms of software, the OS support is a bit outdated, and the tablet lags a little behind in some operations, but nothing unbearable. Android 10 is still popular, supported in development and generally comfortable to use, but by the time the tablet was purchased (February 2021), the operating system was already a year and a half old and a whole major version was lagging behind, which could in the long run some Problems create perspective with software support. It seems that the device does not support the update to Android 11 and of course the upcoming Android 12.
