These plastic chisels are incredibly versatile. The main use for them that I have found is in my motorcycles and cars. I live in New York and the DMV here uses license plate decals that attach to motorcycle license plates. I have tried every year to remove the old stickers. Metal scrapers and razor blades will damage the panel surface. Solvents like Goof Off can also damage the plate. These chisels are perfect for removing old stickers. The chisels are very soft but soft enough not to damage the number plate and the number plates pull off cleanly - amazing! I showed them to my bike mechanic - he used carb cleaner to remove the ink from the old stickers but the aluminum base won't come off. It has been switched to these bits for removing license plate stickers. The same goes for windshield inspection stickers and registration stickers on cars, although a regular razor blade works well on glass and won't damage the glass, but if you slip with a razor blade there's a greater chance of damaging the dashboard than a plastic chisel. Another use of the weirdo is in the litter box. New clumping fillers cling to any tray - plastic or steel. A 1 inch chisel is perfect for separating litter from any litter box, especially if you have an uncoated litter bin that has been damaged by a metal spatula. Hope this helps - Tretiak
