I bought a rather expensive glass first and it lasted a while before it had a chip on the rim (the rim is very visible and slightly damaged but always looked nice. I reordered the same brand but accidentally received only plastic - the first one lasted a few months but didn't survive the impact very well. Today I went to put the second one on and it stopped sticking. Now I don't have a screen protector at all. I would recommend glass but it is too not a perfect solution.
