All in all this backpack was my favorite backpack I have ever bought. There are just a few things I don't like. I work as an armed security guard at a nuclear power plant and overall I like the weight of this backpack. It's very light and even quite full, it doesn't weigh down my gun belt. I usually carry a laptop, a regular book, a Switch Lite and emulator console (along with their chargers), a full-size spray can, and a light windbreaker. All these things fit very well in this backpack without weighing it down in my work clothes. My only major complaint is that the water bottle pocket is not very deep. I carry a 40 ounce water bottle and as you can see in one of the photos the top of the bag is inches from the center of the bottle. If you carry a similar type of thermos, be aware that it could potentially pop out. As far as waterproofing goes, I've only survived one major thunderstorm with this bag. It rained quite heavily, but not for long, and everything stayed dry inside and in the outside pocket. I live in a pretty rainy part of Texas so I'm waiting for the spring monsoons to really test the waterproofing. All in all a great product! I haven't had any major issues with it other than the water bottle and would definitely recommend this bag.
