A year ago we professionally applied Host products to the old carpet in our basement. Dude that old dirty carpet looked brand new! Fast forward to this month. Our white carpet needed cleaning. The extra high fluffy pile was messy and the carpet makers wanted a lot of money and didn't guarantee it wouldn't ruin the carpet. Found this host box and decided to try it myself. Pros didn't use host preprocessing. , just homemade spray in several places. I took a pair of dishwashing mitts, a bristle brush (I used a bottle brush), Host, and two sets of vacuums. My Dyson and my wet and dry vacuum cleaner. I scattered the hosta all over the carpet and instead of using the host's machine, I cleaned it up and used my hands to collect everything on the carpet. I used both vacuums and the carpet went from a dirty grey/white to brilliant white! I will try to post before and after photos. The best part is that you can step onto the mat right away.
