It's a good all purpose cooking spoon
It's solid, attractive, well finished teak. Unlike some spoons, it's neither too thick (making it bulky) nor too thin (making it more prone to breakage). However, since it is wood, after the first use I lightly sanded the edge of the spoon (220 grit) and oiled it with cutting board oil to seal the edges a bit and prevent them from drying out.
