I got them to use at work. We often need to inventory and store equipment and personnel equipment. We needed a little more than a gallon zip and more strength (to hold around 8-12 pounds). These bags fit both. They are of fairly good quality and can be filled quite full (some of the items are pointed and/or cut but did not pierce the pouch). I've also used them to store toiletries, bagged spare socks and t-shirts to keep in my locker at work in an environment that's always stuffy and prone to mold and mildew. Clothes stay fresh and stain-free. I would buy again and recommend.
