Review on 🍳 Nordic Ware Backsplash Griddle for 2 Burner Stovetops by Scott Snyder

I was looking for a camp pan that would fit my Camp Chef Everest two burner stove. This fits well but could be an inch wider on each side. It's great for camping because it's lightweight (3.69 pounds), heats up quickly, and the non-stick coating makes it easy to clean, although you can't use metal cookware to cook. I was able to wipe the grease off with paper towels and then dry with damp paper towels and it was fine. I've read that it can warp on high heat so I kept the burners on low/medium and had no problems. The hob heats up unevenly as it gets hotter above the burners compared to the colder area in the middle, but overall it works very well. Please note that this is NOT dishwasher safe, the product description does not specifically mention this. According to Nordic Ware's website, "Using a dishwasher is not recommended as it may shorten the life of the non-stick coating." Of course, this isn't an issue when camping, but it could play a role if you plan to use it at home to use. I originally bought a cast iron Lodge LPGI3 pan but ended up returning it as I didn't find it very practical for camping. It was something of a 13-pound monster, and it would have been a bit of a hassle to lug around and clean (non-stick). The Lodge has a double sided grill and is much sturdier, but in the end I chose the Nordic Ware for ease of use.
