Almost every floor nozzle for a shop vacuum simply has plastic ribs on the bottom to give a little air space so the nozzle doesn't suck firmly on the floor. The problem is that if used in a concrete garage or basement, the tabs wear out quickly and the attachment sticks to the floor. The bristles on the underside of this brush head last much longer. I've used it several times with no noticeable wear. I highly recommend it for the normal guy.
