Review on 50-Piece Stainless Steel Thread Repair Kit - Helicoil Type Set (M3 x 2D) by Terry Wilson

I bought this to rethread an aluminum Pitts style muffler for my RC plane. I used the supplied drill and tap. The instructions that came with it weren't detailed enough so I went to YouTube and found a video of someone using this particular product. I broke the first two heli coils because I pushed too hard when inserting the coil into the threaded hole. The shafts are expected to come loose, but only after the spool has been sufficiently rotated. The third time was adorable. This saved me from having to buy a new $50 Pitts-style muffler. The price of this tool is very reasonable. I like that it comes with 50 spools. I'm really amazed that they make helicoils so small.
