At first this seemed like a good product. It worked just like other splitters I've gotten in the past. However, this splitter required its own power supply, which should have alarmed me. In short, within three months the product started overheating and constantly had to be turned off for cooling, during which time I was unable to use the screen. After that, he haphazardly disconnected and reconnected the monitor every time the table moved even a little, including typing on the keyboard. Eventually, all HDMI ports refused to even connect. I have another splitter I got for my TV from Walmart for $5 and it has been working fine for over a year (no power adapter mind you). Waste of money, try something cheaper.
