We had a chopper for small amounts (like a clove or two of garlic) that worked great in combination with an immersion blender. The company then inexplicably changed the product, and the replacement - and all the others we've tried since - appear to have been designed by people who've never used them, with ribs that do nothing but make it difficult to close extract etc. This chopper is a winner, no electricity required, no ribs, so easy to get chopped food, easy to assemble and disassemble for the dishwasher - we love it!
