I have always moved in a warm climate and recently moved to the Northeast U.S. Experiencing a cool Fall is very new to me. These have been a real life saver for chilly days. The silk legging is a great lightweight layer and very breathable. They fit easily under all of my jeans and pants and are even easy enough to wear under thicker, opaque leggings. They do provide some added warmth, but personally, I think they are not going to be thick enough for really cold days during winter. I appreciate the breathability, keeps me from getting too hot when I am long walks, but they are thinner than I expected and are too see through to wear alone, which is why I wear them with thicker leggings and not as oppose to leggings.In short: Thinner than expected, but provide great lightweight, breathable warmth.
