This project box worked perfectly as both a Temperature Controller and as a CNC Control Box. A particularly excellent feature is the ability to access all sides, top and bottom making component attachment and mounting components far easier than if just the sides came off. Another nice feature is how sturdy the box is. I added an emergency off switch to the top of the CNC Control box and when I "panic", I'll whack that top switch with gusto. The point being I don't have to worry about box failure. And while the box is sturdy, the thinness of the metal sides/top make it perfect for mounting panel switches, power and cable connectors, and PID's (temp controllers).The metal used in this box is strong and not easily milled with a CNC (ie, not aluminum). This is not a ding on the box, just a note on usage. Using appropriate drills and a Dremel, it was easy to cut out circles and rectangles.
