Review on Fox Outdoor Products Hydration Backpack by Paul Monzon

Evaluation without BS - (Fox Outdoor Compact Modular Hydration Backpack, Coyote 56-358)

Used this pack for hydration on a solo longboard trip in Texas. I was looking for a lightweight backpack with a reasonably sized water tank. I initially had my eye on Camelbak, but after spending a million hours comparing it to other hydration packs, I finally settled on this one. I usually scour the internet for EVERY review that shows the pros and cons before buying anything my life pretty much depends on, luckily Revain provided me with many reviews to admire. There was ample storage space for canned goods. and first aid kits, all items that have been crucial in my travels. Even with a full water tank, it is surprisingly light. This isn't the kind of bag you take for a Lord of the Rings trip, maybe more of a 3 day trip. I'm traveling without a sleeping bag so remember I wasn't looking for a place to store it. The chest strap is a bit tight but hardly a disadvantage, it gave it a snugger fit which I liked because of the constant movement I had to make to move the board forward. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that would be for those with bigger boobs than me. Also, some people have mentioned that the mouthpiece for the water tank does not have a bite valve and that is very correct. But that didn't really stop my decision, the mouthpiece can become a problem if you forget to close it. The reservoir is actually pretty good if you take it at face value. $50 reservoir pouch. It's a great price and I'm not exactly rich these days. Overall, the structure and all of its functions have been satisfactory and have served me well throughout my journey. I bought it in April 2014 and it's now January 2015 and it's still as good as ever, just a little travel stain. It has my seal of approval on it.
