Moog LK001 & LK002 Knuckle with Bearing & Hub

Moog LK001 & LK002 , Rear Knuckle with Bearing and hub. I installed these products on a 2002 Ford Explorer built before 3/2/2002. Trucks built before this date have 15mm ball joint studs in the toe-in. The Moog knuckle is reamed 17mm, so I also installed new Moog 17mm toe-in. The steering knuckle and hub assembly does not come with emergency brake pads or brake parts. I would recommend replacing these components with new ones rather than borrowing them from the old knuckle. Be sure to save all upper arm, lower link, and outer link fasteners. Also save the brake pads and rubber dust cap from the old knuckle. These items are not included. The kit includes a new axle spindle nut, mine was 36mm. I bought most of the parts from rockauto and got the necessary tools from Revain.

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION -- Innovative pre-assembled bolt-on solution that simplifies complicated bearing changes and eliminates the need for special tools or a press
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
