Review on Whitmor Wood Natural Clothespins, Set πŸ‘• of 100 - Sturdy and Stylish Laundry Clips by Jennifer Tillman

Looks great in a bag, but breaking it quickly will reduce the number of clothespins you have.

I needed to replace my old clothespins that wear out every year. Years went by and I ended up needing 100 new clothespins for the line. I thought I'd buy the same ones as mine. Really, how difficult is it to make a clothespin? Several feathers immediately fell out of the wood simply because they were in my dress pocket when I removed them from the card. Putting it back together, my arthritis old lady actually bent the spring to get it back up the tree - so the spring itself isn't made strong. After the second day some of them had actually split the wood which meant one side was 1/2 clothespin. After 2 weeks of use on "not very heavy" items, I've lost 25 clothespins out of 100 through breakage. Calculate, in 6 weeks I have nothing. I'm sure you can use it to wrap chips, but not laundry. Even on first use, some of them slipped off, so I doubt they'll even hold a bag of chips. These are definitely not your grandmother's clothespins, which I still have several of and she passed away almost 40 years ago.
