Type of review

I ordered these because of hundreds of good reviews. Maybe other people have a different product, but the ones I have are useless. In fact, I've had several wooden clothespins since we bought this house 40 years ago. The lady we bought it from left a bag of these here. I still have some of those original clothespins, and they're better than these (although they've been sitting outside on a clothesline for years). They don't even hold the queen sheet by the rope when it's a bit windy. It's sad…

  • Not the best

Fur. I've had it for a long time and every time I like it less. So many things fell apart - and quite simply! I don't think the spring is tight enough. I took the pair that popped out and put the spring back in, but I put in a rod that was supposed to be down, up and vice versa. It's awkward and difficult to do, but it can be done! I marked them with a marker and will see if they hold together better - they definitely look tighter and stronger! I'll try to remember to update, but if you don't…

How dry I am storing and organizing laundry

Great clothespins! It must have been a generation right after pens with a slot in them (really old fashioned). These spring pin clothespins are great and a good length too. I have spring pens that are shorter and it's great to have longer pens again. They arrive very nicely organized and neatly stacked and boxed. You have pins everywhere. I had a lot of "hanging" laundry, no dry laundry that needed hand drying which is great. I'm glad I spent the extra money and checked out this section of…

these are completely useless. I had a few cracks on the handle.

It's CHEAP so I bought it. Are you thinking "how different can clothespins be?" Well I have a clothespin bag from my grandparents with original clothespins and compared to 60 year old clothespins they are nothing, they are completely useless. I had a few tears on the "grip grooves" and about 5 came apart when I took them out of the box due to misaligned spring wire meaning they would never stay together. If, after hanging it on a clothesline, you spread your legs, even the smallest fly will be…

Good enough for crafting, but not heavy

When my son got a book about mini guns as a gift, I realized that the 'regular household items' he needs for these projects aren't as anymore are common. Clothespins, for example, haven't been in my laundry room for years. These wooden clothespins are good enough for his crafting purposes, but they're not good for their original purpose - hanging clothes to dry. These clothespins are made of very light wood. Compare my picture below to the manufacturer's picture on the product page and you can…

Story verified! These are definitely pens! And hang up clothes!

After I received it, I opened the bag to check and the story was confirmed! Those are clothespins! Exactly what I ordered. And, bonus, if you use them the way you should use clothespins, they work just like clothespins! I was a little nervous about ordering these because some of the other reviewers here said they were cheap or falling apart, but I didn't have that experience and am glad I bought them. They keep my clothes dry and that's why I bought them. None of them fell apart in the spring…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

I needed to replace my old clothespins that wear out every year. Years went by and I ended up needing 100 new clothespins for the line. I thought I'd buy the same ones as mine. Really, how difficult is it to make a clothespin? Several feathers immediately fell out of the wood simply because they were in my dress pocket when I removed them from the card. Putting it back together, my arthritis old lady actually bent the spring to get it back up the tree - so the spring itself isn't made strong…
