Ie updating my review. The first one I got was too low. I contacted the seller and asked for an exchange. They sent me a new pair. I have the same problem. The maximum volume is half that of any other headphone I have ever owned. I figured since they sent me a new pair I'd pop open the volume knob and remove the twist stopper. It didn't help. Now I could turn the knob past the previous stop position, but the volume went completely dead. (Note that the connections have been checked and the volume settings on the Xbox have been set to maximum). The bottom line is four stars for excellent customer service. They try to solve your problem immediately. I would say these are comfortable in ear headphones. On the plus side if you are a parent and don't want your child to burst eardrums. You should definitely buy them. Problem solved. Not five stars as the headphones are limited to medium volume. If you have a quiet place to play, I think these headphones will do the trick. until you like your games loud. If you are playing in a noisy area with heavy traffic. These aren't headphones for you. last thing. Remember it's only $20. The price reflects the quality.
