*April 2016 update* I've owned this controller for over 2 years and still give it 4 stars as I paid less than $15 for it. This controller has worked well for these two years, it should be noted that the R1 button, which I used excessively, has worn out over time. I don't use all the buttons so I changed the programming a bit and used the R2 button instead. The controller has recently stopped accepting custom programming, which means I need a new one. So this controller eventually stopped working as intended, but was cheap and lasted over 2 years. Original Review: I bought this controller because I was dissatisfied with the W505 3 in 1 2.4GHz Wireless Controller model I bought which is made by the same company. This controller is bigger than the standard PS3 controller but I like it. I also like that it has an extra turbo button which is great for the games I play. I use this controller for PC gaming with a keyboard. It's programmable, although programming is tricky. By that I mean that sometimes the joystick works for me. I program the left stick to the arrow keys and it randomly switches the arrow keys to the right stick. This only happens on startup, so all I have to do is turn it off and on a few times to get it back the way I want it. However, it's annoying. The wireless range is the same as any Bluetooth device (about 30 feet and does not require a direct connection to the receiver), drivers for the controller are included on the included CD and load quickly. Manuals for these and other controllers as well as programming software are supplied on CD. In addition, the battery life is very good. 3 AAA batteries last several months with moderate use. Two things to note. First, it has "digital" and "analog" modes. The difference is that in digital mode the joysticks perform the same functions as the directional buttons located above that joystick. You must set the controller to analog mode if you want all of the controller's buttons to have their own programmable functions. Second, when the remote goes to sleep due to inactivity, you need to press the select button to wake it up. To be clear, turning off and on doesn't work, you have to press the select button or remove and reinsert the batteries.
