Review on Long-Lasting Denture Adhesive: Zinc-Free, Waterproof with Aloe Vera & Myrrh - 12-Hour Strong Hold - 1.4 oz by Bridgette Andrada

So I've recently had upper dentures fitted and when I say recently I mean about a week ago at the time of this writing. Because of this, I couldn't put glue on my gums, but I wouldn't leave the house without glue. I just wouldn't feel safe enough. I bought Secure after doing a search and found it to be the number one adhesive brand on several websites. Also, the reviews were pretty good for the most part, and since I have no idea what I'm doing, I had to move on. So I was only able to use the glue on the palate and let me tell you this material really holds up. What I have now is an immediate prosthesis, so I'm sure everyone knows it doesn't fit perfectly. When I put glue on the palate it just sucks on the denture and the baby doesn't move. I can drink anything without losing my footing and I could probably eat just about anything (unfortunately I still eat soft foods), but I can eat a hell of a lot of pudding! I work 12.5 hour shifts so I wake up at 3am. :30pm, I put on Secure and a prosthesis and had absolutely no problems during the day. When I get home around 6:00 p.m., I have to struggle to get my prosthesis out of my mouth. I'll be using this glue until they stop making it. I also love the fact that it's zinc free and has aloe, which believe me is just what my poor mouth needs right now. I just wanted to share my experience because the other reviewers helped me so much. I'm still a bit traumatized from the whole experience and I hope that with time it will dissipate. It's getting better every day and luckily this product has helped with the transition.
