The outer casing is made of poor quality plastic. This means that any pressure on the case will result in the attempt not pressing properly and closing properly. In this case, you may feel a twist before the tray is fully closed, which is actually undesirable. I've also had numerous problems reading DVDs, resulting in having to re-insert the discs 3-5 times before it could be read. I would avoid this product and look for something better. The only thing I give this product is that it is lightweight.
