I installed it today when it got dark. I live in an RV and our community uses the 'new' LED bulbs but they are pretty dim. The lamps are about 12 feet high and even these lamps are quite dim. So my Saturn Vue SUV's headlights are only 35 inches from my hood. The lamp posts are too high but the sidewalk and sidewalks are quite dark. I think it was poorly designed installation work. Every morning around 6:30 am I drive through a large mobile park for my young son's school bus. Then come back to my house. In the fog I can't see the edges of the sidewalks, other cars parked in parallel on illegal streets, etc. We also have a couple of stupid pensioners walking their dogs on the average asphalt streets and in the dark, in dark clothes in the twilight, walking in the snow and fog. I was afraid of hitting someone or crushing their dogs. So I put on the WOW LED magnetic mount and plugged the cable into the cigarette lighter socket. So I turned off my regular headlights and turned on the WOW LED. Bingo! Two other houses in the neighborhood caught fire. Then I turned on the headlights as well. I realized my car headlights were old yellowish lightbulbs. So I will also add two blue and white high power bulbs to my car. But with the WOW LED headlight on my hood, the entire long driveway was almost 125-150 feet from my house! All car reflectors shone brightly in all street parking spots. Wonderful! My hood is low enough that I don't think I'll blind motorists. I will know If not, then I can adjust the angle a bit. The 36W WOW LED bulb has a much brighter and purer white light than traditional incandescent bulbs. I would say my headlights are 300% brighter than before. Don't just buy the 27-watt version, though. I am very happy. The magnetic holder holds very well. The plug also comes with a switch, which is a good thing. I might buy another one to brighten up the whole area! Oh yeah, I need one for my wife's car too. The cool thing is that LEDs don't require a powerful 50+W generator and don't drain the battery heavily. If you like it, do it.
