Magnet not strong enough to hold a normal sized broom
We were very pleased to receive this product but it does not work as intended The magnets are not strong enough to hold a broom or mop in the air to hold so it only works if you don't mind leaving your broom on the floor it's just a small step up when I lean my broom against the wall I'm trying to decide if I should return this item.*Update - After the manufacturer's comment, I'm still giving 2 stars.Maybe it's not meant for a broom?For small items, it seems normal, but not for my purposes.
- Magnet holds 35 pounds in contact with 1/4" thick flat smooth iron plate in vertical test, 50% less on vertical surface that resists sliding force and less on steel with color
