UPDATE: This product's customer service has been really great. They quickly contacted me about my problem with the product and helped to resolve it in a timely manner. I would definitely give customer service 5 stars. This rug is super cute and I'm super new to heat transfer projects so I guess I didn't understand what others (probably) already have. When I used my heat press on my project which is on a mat, the paw print (which I believe was also heat transferred to the mat) left a pink imprint on the back of my project. While a mat will certainly protect your surface from heat, it simply cannot be used in heat transfer projects.
