Great scanner. - Code Readers and Scanning Tools

Shipping was very fast and packaging was great. This diagnostic scanner comes with a carrying case which is very good and very handy. Now let me start by saying a few things. I worked as an industrial mechanic for 12 years, before that I was a diesel engine mechanic for several years. However, I am not an auto technician. I work on all my cars myself, and have done so with my father at every opportunity since I didn't even have a driver's license. I am not new to diagnostic scan tools, I have had and used many of them. I currently have several and I will say that I like the touchscreen and Android based operating system although it can be a little slow but again this is an Android system so that is to be expected. What I really like are the WiFi updates. There is no need to connect it to a laptop or computer to get updates, which is very cool. With it, you can sign in to your email and even some Microsoft accounts. You can send yourself files from the cars you are working on. You can also save it in the system of this scanner. It's easy to navigate, but it's a little different than many others I've used. Once you start playing it, you can easily find out. I'm just saying that because if you want to get this type of model you're probably not new to using a scan tool so you understand how to do all the different programs like freeze frame, real time data, readiness I/M and reads more. . You can search for a lot of bugs, which is nice. One of the things that disappointed me is that it wasn't bi-directional. I think for that price it would be nice. I could say so much about it but then it would become a book and neither of us have time for it so I'll just say yes it's a really good scanner with lots of features including maintenance. Features that really help. It does pretty much everything I'll ever need, but for the price it sells, it's let me down for a bi-directional scan tool. Depending on what you are looking for I would just say look around. There are many great half price scanning tools that offer a bi-directional system. So depending on what you need, you might be better off looking elsewhere. I'm just saying.
