This thing does what it advertises, but there are far more practical ways to scan photos in bulk. This converter basically works by taking your photo in a box. The image quality is decent enough, but if you do all reproductions, or are interested in preserving the original image quality as much as possible, you really should look at a document scanner or a regular flatbed scanner. Photo interchangeable trays are essential but slow to use. I bought this thing, used it one evening and then gave up. Nothing was too frustrating, but the process of processing a batch of photos was slow and cumbersome.
