I love this product! So let's start with the negatives: 1. The block is huge. I really don't understand why they can't downsize the device to the size of a fire alarm or something. rzunimag. It's an eyesore wherever you put it.2. It can be difficult to figure out where to place it because we have too much space on the side (in the neighbor's yard), then too much in the front (outside), then not enough space etc. It was a process of playing around with location and settings. Pros: I have a Cavalier King Charles who is 2 years old. He is CRAZY, LOVES everything and everyone and can't control himself. He only has to run to people and animals and cannot sit back with new people. He was never allowed to be taken off the leash as he is a runner. I wasn't sure if this block would work. Overall he has considerable training as my daughter trains him in obedience, agility and grooming for her dog club. However, he still can't help but run towards people. The first few days we only showed him the flags with a sound signal and treats. then the next week we started training. One day he was shocked and I felt terrible when he cried out and ran away. But we treated him and then we played fetch (which he LOVES). it's been a week and a half now and he's not trying to get out of the yard even if his "puppy friends" are across the street! It's huge! He would never have stayed in the courtyard if he had seen her! I'm amazed and excited that he can now have some freedom in his own yard to play and run around and he won't run out into the street. We are still in the training process, but so far everything is going better than I expected!
