Unreliable and the lowest setting is really shocking.

I spent quite a bit of time setting it up and following all the instructions in the email. Our property is perfectly flat and there are no large metal objects to interfere with the transmission. Closer to the road, where we are most concerned, in some places there is no signal at all, so we do not relax letting them out and keep watching them. This defeats the purpose. During practice, I set it to the lowest setting as instructed and she yelped and jumped high in the air when she reached theโ€ฆ

Too Controversial to Trust

We've had the PetSafe Wireless Fence for two years now. We bought it from Revain in August 2016. When we trained our German Shepherd with the wireless restraint system, we followed the instructions exactly. At first it went well. Our dog knew his limits. The system worked when needed and our dog knew to run back to the house if he went too far. But over time, the system became more and more contradictory. All dogs need consistency, especially German Shepherds. Sometimes the system would startโ€ฆ

I love this device for a wild, stubborn, energetic dog!

I love this product! So let's start with the negatives: 1. The block is huge. I really don't understand why they can't downsize the device to the size of a fire alarm or something. rzunimag. It's an eyesore wherever you put it.2. It can be difficult to figure out where to place it because we have too much space on the side (in the neighbor's yard), then too much in the front (outside), then not enough space etc. It was a process of playing around with location and settings.
