I spent quite a bit of time setting it up and following all the instructions in the email. Our property is perfectly flat and there are no large metal objects to interfere with the transmission. Closer to the road, where we are most concerned, in some places there is no signal at all, so we do not relax letting them out and keep watching them. This defeats the purpose. During practice, I set it to the lowest setting as instructed and she yelped and jumped high in the air when she reached the limit. I tested it myself and it was pretty brutal. I would like to return it, but first it was packaged in such a way that you have to destroy (tear) the box to open it. More importantly, since we were very motivated to do this job we hung out there trying different locations and settings and unfortunately the return date has already passed. This is a very reasonable price if you're lucky enough to get a properly working device, but pricey for a Lemon.
