Review on The Versatile OPSAK: Your Solution for Secure and Odor-Proof Storage by Erin Abbott

dog tested! best at rowing and sailing

We have a dog named Bear. He is very smart and very motivated by food. We adopted him after he failed service dog training because he couldn't be trusted with food. He is perfect at everything else but will eat anything left unattended. He ate several backpacks to eat indoors and recently ate an unopened can of dog food off the counter, leaving only crumpled metal on the living room floor. It took us a minute to even realize what it was. Last night I put a cooked hamburger and some buns in the opsack and left it in a plastic bag on the floor about six feet from Bear's food bowl. He didn't touch it all night. We left on business this morning and he stole some bread from the counter but he didn't touch the opsak. That's when I decided to write a review. These things are amazing. I am in the process of ordering some of the larger ones to pair with the Ursack for hiking and I can't tell you how excited I am about never having to hang another bear bag again! Not to mention we can now leave our backpacks in the car with the bear if we need to eat, fill up, etc on the way to the trail start. They solve a lot of problems for us because they really work.

Pros
  • water sports and sailing
Cons
  • slightly wrinkled
