Like some of you, DBA rotors are very expensive these days. I will say these pads do a pretty good job overall but even with proper fit and maintenance they reduce brake fade, they basically ruined my DBA rotors. DBA makes great rotors but their customer service is pretty bad. They play email with you and blame everything but their own rotors. Yes, they did deform my rotors, which is pretty unfortunate, but they offered ample stopping power. They are very bad on wet roads. Almost always. Which is weird considering they contain carbon? Pure pottery has always been bad when wet, but this is something like that. Where's the charcoal? Maybe it was low carbon. In any case, I will never buy a Hawk again at this price. Rotors DBA I might try again but unlikely due to their drastic customer service. What I liked most about them was their paddle paw design, but I was beginning to realize that the paw print is pretty much useless if you don't have brake channels. They don't cool any better for brake pads that tend to get hot.
