Bought for butcher to hang 20lb black floating shelves. The mount hung horizontally as advertised and barely touched the stand due to the spacing between the holes, so 2 screws in the stand and 2 in the drywall. It's so thin and bends easily. The console hung vertically, we had to cut out the drywall and hang directly on the studs and it would be tiled. Once the studs are drilled it becomes very strong. 2 brackets are curved and not straight, which makes the shelf not slide smoothly. And the screws that come with it suck. Use your screws. If you're looking to spend a whole day installing shelves, then these brackets are for you.
