I have tried installing it on drywall. With supplied plugs. I followed all the instructions but there is no way to install it permanently. I can literally move it back and forth. He will never support a shelf. waste of money

I used them to install a giant cedar top for my bar. I knew I was asking a lot from a product but thought it was worth a try. I used 5 of the 6 and placed them where 2 of the 4 screws on each bracket met the studs. Holes drilled and inserted. Much easier to install than I thought. It wobbles a bit but is very solid when you push the bar down. Overall very happy with it.

The rod length on the bracket is long but the holes on the bracket only allow 1 screw into the rack and the rest into the drywall application, I used and it wasn't enough to support the meat block shelf I used. I had to go back and get a bracket with bolt holes closer to the stem so I could thread the two longer bolts into the stud.

I bought these for some floating kitchen shelves I was building and was concerned about the quality as I haven't seen them in person to know how good they are quality is true . I was pleasantly surprised when I opened and installed them! They are VERY strong, I drilled them into the wall and was able to hang them without wobbling or sliding. They support my wooden shelves with no problem!

They were decent for the price but as there is no center hole you have to decide which hole and post to place and then rely on the drywall anchors for the rest of the support. The ones you get are not good in my opinion. So I went and bought drywall anchor bolts. Then I don't have a drill and they don't give you instructions on how to drill the hole, so you have to do it as accurately as possible with a hand drill, which I found almost impossible. Bought for butcher to hang 20lb black floating shelves. The mount hung horizontally as advertised and barely touched the stand due to the spacing between the holes, so 2 screws in the stand and 2 in the drywall. It's so thin and bends easily.
