Love, love, love this items! For the first time in years, California is getting some much needed rain. Add rain, to a puppy, and a partially unfinished backyard, and you get a messy bedspread. Midori Jayne, the lab puppy mix, loves to run and jump on Mom and Dad's bed. And she especially likes to do that after playing in the mud or burying her bones in the backyard. She also like to eat her bones on the bed. Now with this cover, it doesn't bother me when she gets on our bed. It keeps the bedspread CLEAN. I was washing the bedspread every other day. It compliments the colors in my bedroom perfectly. My only "wish" would be it was made especially for a Cal King, but, hey, I'll take what I got.Was a bit worried about the first time I washed it, after reading other reviews about the drying time. I have a front load Kenmore washer and dryer pair. I don't think it came out of the washer too wet. I dried it on the sensor drying, which I wouldn't do again. Too a bit longer than other items like this. But I will take the extra time over having to wash the bed linens more frequently.Will be purchasing other sizes for the sofas in the next few weeks. This purchase was a bit expensive (because I'm cheap) but worth every penny!
