The mud on the grate is good for small appliances
The first one I got didn't work so I called Kitchen Aid and they sent me a new one which I really appreciate was happy. I would like to use it for cheese but there is a huge gap between the rim and the blade so it sticks together and forms cheese balls. It's a mess.
