This 5 cup coffee maker performs the same functions as large coffee makers, only in one scale for 1-3 people. The programmer is easy to use and I use this feature often. I fill the water tank with water and the used amount of coffee grounds in the filter, set the time and in the morning we have hot coffee. The coffee is delicious and the temperature is perfect. It turns off automatically after 2 hours, which is a nice safety feature, and due to its small size, the coffee maker doesn't take up much counter space...another plus. I wash the carafe and parts for daily cleaning in warm soapy water and decalcify once with household vinegar according to the manufacturer's instructions. I had no problems and no complaints which is why I gave it a 5 star rating.
