Review on Internal Audio Card Creative Audigy Rx by Adam Domaski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

The built-in sound card was replaced with the sound card roughly three years ago. The EAX standard has strict support in Windows XP, however on subsequent operating systems, the Creative Alchemy application takes care of this. After I installed a set of drivers and software from Daniel K, the sound quality much improved. The quality is, however, inferior to that of my laptop's USB Creative Play sound card. This sound card can be recommended for those who require a higher quality sound than the sound card built into the motherboard and those who desire three-dimensional sound in games. It is designed for those who wish to simultaneously record sound from two microphones (there are two microphone connectors). You should look at something more expensive if you want flawless sound. (There is a Creative SB Audigy FX sound card that is less expensive and not much different from this one.)

Pros
  • sound quality is good supports EAX games with 3D sound up to 4.0 HD. has support for 192 kHz and 24 bit quality
Cons
  • Only a few branded programs are available for initial sound configuration, and the Creative original drivers do not provide quite satisfactory sound. The connectors on the back are not color-coded (which is for a microphone, an external sound source and speakers)
