I have a 4.5 gallon Dewalt supercharger, D55146, rated at 6.5 scfm at 40 psi. Customs service. So, in terms of characteristics, it does not meet the requirements of the weapon, but personally I did not have any problems. I keep a 3 to 4 inch injection mold. After I make about a 70 inch pass, the compressor turns on and keeps running. So far I've only painted one cabinet door at a time with Fine Paints of Europe Universal Primer, 1.8mm tip, diluted about 10% with water. So if you want to move fast and/or spray a lot of stuff at once, this might be a problem for you. But for someone like me, that's enough, mostly because of the quick cleanup.
