Review on 🍷 A Transforming Experience: Introducing the Riedel Cabernet Decanter by Efrain Khan

This is my second carafe. I've had a glass for about 4 years that can easily hold (2) 750ml bottles and while I love this carafe it feels too big when I'm only wanting to decant 1 bottle so I can have a glass or two can drink. I decided to try the Riedel decanter after looking around a bit because its diameter wouldn't take up too much cupboard space and it had some decent reviews. My first impression was that it's really thin walled, but I think that's the difference between crystal and glass (yes, I'm clueless about this). However, since I don't plan on dropping it, this shouldn't be a problem. It seems perfect for the (1) 750ml bottle which I pour through the decanting funnel to aerate (I've uploaded a picture to show this carafe with a full bottle in it). After I've had a glass or two, the decanter neck makes it easy to pour the rest back into the bottle, even without a funnel. So while you don't have the most exposed surface with a full bottle, it's the perfect size for a dining table to hold what's left after you've poured a few glasses.
