Large wine carafe

This wine carafe from Riedel is beautiful and true to size. The box was dented. I was completely amazed that the carafe was not broken. Anyone who has already packed this crystal carafe should place the decanter box in the box and wrap it with bubble wrap.

Perfect Decanter - Wine Decanter

The perfect decanter for what we wanted. We used to use a swan shaped decanter which was perfect for storing wine, but we needed a more traditional decanter to easily pour wine from a bottle into a decanter. This decanter also pairs perfectly with the Vinturi aerator for an extra treat. The carafe looks solid, robust and made of high-quality materials. Easy to wash and reuse. Very satisfied!

Lovely Decanter - Bar Tools

I'm glad I bought this decanter. Well done. It's a bit fragile like thin-walled glass, but that's due to the quality of the glass carafe. I always hand wash it and put it in my kitchen cupboard for safekeeping. I have used this decanter at least 3 times a week for my Italian, French and Californian reds. It easily accommodates wines in 750ml bottles. Looks good on my table. Decant nicely, and if I don't use up all the wine, it easily pours back into the bottle. It's a winner and worth the cost.

looks small but the wine fits!

This is the perfect little carafe with the quality you've come to expect from Riedel. When I first unpacked it I thought it was small and couldn't hold all 750ml of wine, but I was wrong. Perfect fit, perfect ventilation. The only thing that really bothered me was the packaging, or rather the lack of packaging. It was just a store bought thin box with the thinnest layer of bubble wrap on the OUTSIDE of the Riedel box. The postal label was on a thin piece of bubble wrap. I definitely thought the

Perfect size and shape

This is an excellent carafe. Fits comfortably in the hand; My wife and I find that in many cases it is easier to pour from this carafe than from the original bottle. It replaces the decanter, which was much larger and MUCH harder to manipulate. As a result, we didn't use it that much. We decant a lot more often with this Riedel, which is very good, especially since we drink a lot of young wines (2009 or 2010). decant, so the smaller surface area of this decanter doesn't bother me. It's still…

Good for dinner with a bottle

This is my second carafe. I've had a glass for about 4 years that can easily hold (2) 750ml bottles and while I love this carafe it feels too big when I'm only wanting to decant 1 bottle so I can have a glass or two can drink. I decided to try the Riedel decanter after looking around a bit because its diameter wouldn't take up too much cupboard space and it had some decent reviews. My first impression was that it's really thin walled, but I think that's the difference between crystal and glass…
