I use them for many purposes and they are very handy. I especially use them on my bike trailer to keep my bike safe ( extra insurance ) and keep the wheels stable. I also like the long outer extensions (very bulky and difficult to tension, but I just attach one to the end of each cord and when I'm done using it the strap is right where it belongs I needed.Also handy for attaching soft bars if you carry more than one (less likely to damage bars than bungee and they are so easy to strip down to different lengths if needed).
