Bought for my work laptop and it works great! I had to adjust which USB socket it should take on my port because it wasn't working on certain slots. It could have been my port in general but I was able to get it to work. Very happy with the speed because it was definitely noticeable. My work laptop went from 3Mbps back to the correct speed I paid for. Thanks very much! UPDATE: I was using it for about 90 minutes and my connection suddenly dropped. The adapter felt very hot. I've switched between the few USB ports I had, but I couldn't get the connection to appear let alone stay connected for a period of time. I'm disappointed. How can a product just stop working after 90 minutes of use?
