Difficult phone insertion

It is very difficult to insert the phone into the jaw and in most cases this results in pinched fingers. It would be better if it had a screw cap rather than a spring balancer. I ended up buying another screw cap mounting kit and am hoping that it will easily replace the Starscope mounting kit.
